Mira Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 2025-09-28.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the Mira app (the "Application") for mobile devices created by Tanush N & Rohan S ("Service Provider"). Mira offers virtual clothing try-on powered by AI. This service is provided "AS IS."
Information Collection and Use
Mira allows you to upload photos, including images of yourself and clothing items, to generate virtual try-on previews. We value your privacy and minimize data handling:
- Your photos, including face data, and clothing images are used solely to generate try-on results.
- Photos are uploaded securely and temporarily to Mira’s server, then processed using the Google Gemini API to generate try-on images.
- Once processing is complete, all uploaded photos (including face data) are immediately deleted from our server.
- The generated try-on results are stored only on your device.
Face Data Policy
- Collection: Only the photos you upload, which may include images of your face.
- Use: Solely to generate virtual try-on previews, never for analytics or advertising. We do not extract or store facial recognition data (“Face Data”) separately. Your selfie is not used to identify you or track you across services.
- Third-Party Sharing: Photos are transmitted to the Google Gemini API strictly for try-on generation, and are never reused or sold.
- Retention/Deletion: Photos are stored temporarily for processing and deleted immediately after. Try-on images are only stored on your device.
- No Long-Term Storage: We do not retain any face data.
Legal Compliance
Our app does not collect or process biometric data or use facial recognition technology in ways that would fall under biometric privacy laws like BIPA (Biometric Information Privacy Act) or GDPR biometric data regulations. We will notify users and update this policy if our data practices change in ways that would trigger these laws.
Subscription Information
- Subscription Title: Mira Try-On Subscription.
- Subscription Length: Monthly.
- Price: $2.99 per month, via in-app purchase.
- The subscription allows you to generate virtual try-on clothes with Mira.
- Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (EULA) links are available both in-app and in App Store metadata.
- You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple App Store account here: https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
Third Party Access
Photos are transmitted to Gemini, an AI service, only for generating try-on images. We do not retain or reuse your photos once processing is complete. All photos are stored just on your device.
Other than this process, the Application does not share any personal data with third parties.
Data Retention Policy
- Photos you upload: Stored temporarily for processing and deleted immediately after completion.
- Generated try-on images: Saved only on your device until you choose to delete them.
- No long-term storage: Photos and try-on images are never retained by Mira after processing.
Security
We take precautions to ensure your photos are processed securely. Data is transmitted securely to our servers and to Gemini for processing, and discarded immediately after. All photos are stored locally just on your device.
Children
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Mira is safe for all age groups and does not solicit or process personal data beyond the photos you choose to upload.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all use of the Application by simply uninstalling it at any time.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Application after any changes will constitute your acceptance.

Mira uses the Apple standard Terms of Use (EULA).
